Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Lebanon: iOS Q4 2024 Performance

The fourth quarter of 2024 showcased varied performance trends for carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Lebanon. Here's a closer look at the top five apps based on their weekly downloads and active user metrics.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a fluctuating download pattern, starting at around 574 downloads in early October, peaking at 673, and ending the quarter with 516 downloads. Active users initially declined from 1.9K to a low of 785 by early November, before recovering to approximately 1.4K by the end of December.

Bolt: Request a Ride showed a steady increase in downloads, beginning at 349 and reaching 556 by late December. Despite a drop in active users from 7.1K to 2K early in the quarter, Bolt regained momentum, finishing with about 4.2K active users.

Careem – rides, food & more had a noticeable decline in downloads, starting at 263 and decreasing to 166 by the end of the quarter. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 1.5K to 1.9K range.

inDrive. Save on city rides maintained a consistent download rate, with minor fluctuations around 140 to 170 downloads weekly. Active users remained steady, averaging about 1.7K throughout the quarter.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery saw a decrease in downloads, from 97 in early October to 77 by December's end. Active users hovered around the 250 to 325 mark, with a slight uptick in late December.
